Get ready for the Community Arts Center’s Eighth Annual Fine Arts and Crafts Festival on September 25 and 26 at Rose Tree Park in Media, PA (10:00 am to 5:00 pm, rain or shine). This family friendly FREE admission arts Festival will include nearly 50 artists, children’s activities, live music, artist demonstrations, and food to make a fantastic culturally enriching weekend for everyone in the community.

The Community Arts Center Fine Arts and Crafts Festival, is unique in that it features only original works of art; no mechanical reproductions or work not made by the artist are permitted to be exhibited. Festival artists are selected through a jury process, ensuring a variety of high quality work offered in ceramics, fiber, jewelry, polymer clay, mixed media, photography, wood, watercolor, oil, acrylic, mosaic, painted furniture, and printmaking. Artists are required to be on-site at the Festival, providing the opportunity for the public to interact with them, learn about their process, and support them by purchasing their work, much of which is very affordable.

Make your own artistic creations with your family in the children’s activities area sponsored by Citizens Bank, which includes CAC’s famous tie-dyeing, beading projects, and postcard making. Artist demonstrations will mesmerize and inspire you throughout the weekend with Bob Deane throwing pottery on a wheel; Dan Shipley, oil painting; Sage Kelsey, clay creatures and whistles; Emily Squires Levine, the art of polymer clay; Lisa Budd, watercolor on YUPO “paper;” and Nancy Barch, the art of mixed media.

Share a wonderful art in the park weekend with your friends and family at the Community Arts Center’s signature Fine Arts and Crafts Festival in Rose Tree Park, where parking and admission are free.
