A Wee-Folk and Tree-rific Celebration!

On Sunday, September 19 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm, families are invited to the Arboretum’s Tree-rific Celebration: Wee Folk & Nature’s Secrets. Girls, boys and adults who attend this magical event, in costume, each receive $1 off the price of a regular admission, and, Tyler’s Gift Shop has arranged for an easy and kid-friendly costume alternative with an ample supply of wizard hats, magic wands, faerie wings, halos and skirts available for purchase.

Children of all ages and their grown-ups are invited to participate in Tyler’s new Enchanted Parade, led by the Arboretum’s Faerie Queen and Wizard King. The magical procession will start at 2:00 pm, on Painter Lawn. Before and after the Enchanted Parade, kids can enjoy numerous ongoing activities and crafts.

Wee faeries, wizards, gnomes or elves will love joining in on our Magical Bubbles Faerie Dancing. The Tree-rific Scavenger Hunt featuring Tyler's ever-popular Totally Terrific Treehouses. Listen spell-bound to magical tales during Enchanted Story Time readings. Create on-site Gnome Homes and Faerie Houses for the Arboretum's magical spirits to inhabit, and create a mushroom and enchanted halo to take home. It’s a fun-filled outdoor family afternoon, not to be missed.
