HONOR OUR VETERANS ON THURSDAY
The 51st annual Delaware County Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday 11/11. All veterans with past military service and those in uniform are encouraged to attend with family and friends to salute their brothers and sisters who have proudly served our country.
The parade follows the traditional route west in the borough on State Street from Edgemont to Orange Street, north to Front Street, then left and concluding before the reviewing stand at Delaware County Courthouse, where the ceremony will be held.
The Veterans Day events are coordinated by the U.S. Veterans Legacy Project and the Pennsylvania Veterans Museum.The Museum, 12 E. State St., will be open for visitors throughout the day. Admission is free.
