Meet the Ballet Dancers

MEET THE BALLET DANCERS!
Saturday February 12th
2:30-4:30

International Ballet Classique of Media is hosting a free ballet program entitled 'MEET THE DANCERS' on Saturday February 12th afternoon from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm in the Meagher Theatre at Neumann University, Aston, Pa.

Our entire program is free and open to the public with ample free parking adjacent to the theatre door. MEET THE DANCERS will include a screening in HD of the full length production of our December 2010 Nutcracker Ballet followed by a delightful reception in the lobby with delicious desserts and an opportunity in a relaxed setting to meet and speak with the cast----all the ballet dancers seen on the screen. The dancers will also be in the audience during the screening.

This is a unique opportunity during the reception for children and adults to meet one on one with classically trained ballet dancers in the finest traditions of the Bolshoi Ballet who will answer any questions for audience members on the art of ballet or what life is like in the world of ballet.

With the world abuzz over the very negative message about ballet in the current movie Black Swan, the ballet experience we offer in this program will be a positive and uplifting journey into ballet and the opportunity to meet with real dancers.!!! This "Nutcracker" was shown four times on TV just before Christmas. If you missed it, I highly recommend attending this FREE HD "Nutcracker" performance. I was in the audience during its filming and it is truly a beautiful, marvelous production which kept the children on the edge of their seats. They loved it, as did the adults. The discussion period afterward (and before the refreshments) will prove to be most enlightening on the Art of Ballet. Any questions you may have about the dancers, the dance form, or ballet productions will be answered by the most knowledgeable experts. After all, the owners of IBC are graduates and former soloists of the world-famous Bolshoi Ballet.
