Hootenanny Hoedown Dinner Theatre

HOOTENANNY HOEDOWN

New dinner theatre revue by Michael Ogborn and John Monforto comes to Wallingford for three performances April 19 – 21, 2012

Zakarak Productions presents HOOTENANNY HOEDOWN, a new dinner theatre revue by Michael Ogborn and John Monforto for three performances only from April 19 – 21 at the Performing Arts Complex of Delaware County in WallingfordPA. Tickets are available through the Theatre Alliance of Greater Philadelphia by visiting www.theatrealliance.org/hootenanny or by calling 215-413-7152.

HOOTENANNY HOEDOWN features a music-hall style score of rousing American folk, standard and Tin Pan Alley favorites (In the Good Old Summertime, When the Saints Go Marching InThis Land is Your Land and more), as well as two original compositions by Michael Ogborn. The show is a nod to Disney’s long-running Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, and is a family-friendly event appropriate for ages 5 and up.

Zakarak President Julianna Schauerman says, “With this show we hope to emulate what Disney does very well. We’ve created a quality, family-friendly entertainment event that every age can enjoy. The songs are fun and recognizable. We want the audience to sing along, and to walk out of the theatre happy and glad that they chose to enjoy a show together.”

All performances begin at 6:30pm, and as part of the show, a generous family-style dinner of chicken, ribs, mashed potatoes, corn bread, dessert and a beverage is served.

The cast of Philadelphia favorites includes Jeffrey Coon, Krissy Fraelich and Neill Hartley.

Tickets are $15 for children ages 5 – 17 and $30 for adults 18+. Dinner is included in the ticket price. Tickets for groups of 10 or more are $15 for children and $25 for adults. Seating is general admission, but all ticket buyers/parties will be seated at their own table that is appropriately sized for their party.
