If you've ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at the Delaware Museum of Natural History, "What You Didn't Know About the Museum" on Saturday, November 2, from 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. is your chance to find out more about the Museum's lesser-known features.

The Museum plans to host ""What You Didn't Know About the Museum" events throughout the year to provide visitors an opportunity to view the Museum from a new perspective.  These events mark the first time the Museum has led regular public tours of the Collections & Research Department.  Made up of more than 112,000 bird specimens and 220,000 lots of mollusks (shells), the collections make play a vital role in discovering more about the natural world.
