Arnold Lobel’s treasured characters will hop from the page to the stage at Upper Darby Summer Stage. “A Year with Frog and Toad TYA” is a whimsical show that follows two best friends—the joyful, popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad as they experience the four seasons. With a jazzy, delightful score, adorable characters, and powerful lessons, this production is perfect for the entire family. Performances are August 1, 2, and 3 at 10:30 a.m. and on August 2 at 7:30 p.m. at the Upper Darby Performing Arts Center.

Tickets are affordably priced at $8-$12 and members of The Upper Darby Performing Arts Center save $1. Tickets may be purchased at udpac.org or by calling the box office at 610.622.1189. The Upper Darby Performing Arts Center is located at 601 N. Lansdowne Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA., minutes from the Main Line and Center City.

The show runs one hour with no intermission and is ideal for ages four and up. The theater offers free parking and free babysitting on site for the very young. Young audience members are encouraged to come early for a fun activity and to stay after the show for a meet-and-greet with the performers.
