Election Day and Veterans Day


The Philadelphia Zoo is about connecting families to animals and the environment we share. During the 2008-2009 school year from now until Veterans Day (November 11), America’s First Zoo is offering a special $2 discount on all full-priced general admission tickets for all students (K-12) who present a valid student ID at the Zoo’s main box office as well as a special “Self-Guided Student Safari” tour of the Zoo. In addition to receiving $2 off their regular admission price, students can take a special “Self-guided Student Safari,” available at both the main box office as well as on the Zoo's website . The “Self-Guided Student Safari” challenges students and their families to discover some of the 1,300 rare and endangered animals at America’s First Zoo. Children can have a perfect “Zoo Day” off from school as they can continue to learn in fun, engaging and educational ways. The special $2 off student pricing is available on the following dates:
