Providing underserved children, youth, families in Chester with educational, artistic and cultural opportunities transforming lives and neighborhoods.


Jump on the music train and clap, stamp, sing and swing along in this fun filled festival of songs for the whole family.  Join World of Song’s” Allison DeSalvo & Friends at the 9th Children’s Benefit Concert  -“Thanks & SPRING Giving” - on Saturday, May 17th at 4:30 pm bringing kids together in support of other children in need.  Help raise money for The Nia Center and enjoy colorful springtime tunes, greetings from around the world, a medley of classic African American children’s songs and more with dramatic storytelling heart centered joyful music in the spirit of the season. Accompanied by guitarist Charlie Phillips and percussionist Al Cochrane, Allison uses instruments, puppets, make believe and art creating an interactive, celebratory event.  Featuring the “Singing Moms" and Dads now too! All proceeds from this show are donated to “TNC” providing underserved children, youth, families and seniors in Chester, PA with educational and cultural enrichment opportunities in the arts, mentoring, internships, and much more that transforming the community. Geared for ages 2 – 10 yrs.  All Welcome. Tickets $7 per person, includes craft time and refreshments. Concert will be held at The Creative Living Room, 15 S.
