What to do this weekend with your family? Here is a list of things you can enjoy with your family this weekend:  Please call ahead before leaving your house to ensure the venue is still hosting the event.  Due to the new COVID guidelines, many venues have had to cut back on the number of visitors they can allow.


Outdoor YogAmi-Kids Yoga will be at Little Crum Creek Park with Allison DeSalvo's World of Song this 3rd Sat. Follow Bear as she climbs the mountain before her long winter’s nap and explore a "winter wonderland" filled with animals and adventures in the (make believe) snow. Enjoy music, stories, games, mindful meditation, and make simple art too! Visit event for registration & details.

Music with Miss Jill is an interactive music program for toddlers through Kindergarten.  Weekly activities consist of songs, fingerplays, props, musical games, and puppets. Each week is theme oriented.  Themes include the zoo, pets, woods, transportation, dinosaurs, pond, farm, birds, colors and shapes, seasons, etc. 



Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park has adventures behind every corner. They are the ultimate indoor playground for your entire family. Take your kids’ birthday party to the next level or spend a day of fun with the family, and you’ll see why we’re more than just a trampoline park.



Individuals on the autism spectrum or with sensory processing disorder and their families are invited to join us for after-hours access to the Museum’s Brandywine Railroad, a holiday favorite featuring O-gauge model trains running on a thousand feet of track. On view is Ann Wyeth McCoy’s dollhouse, which features six rooms filled with three-dozen dolls and hundreds of miniature objects that will delight visitors of all ages.


Yoga Adventures with Jitterbugs Music & Movement (Virtual Event)

Join us for a Yoga storytelling adventure over Zoom that features a warm-up time, a story that incorporates 20-25 Yoga postures, and ends with a moment of relaxation. Presented by Amy Vitsorek from Jitterbugs Music & Movement.



Linvilla Orchard’s Fore! The Planet is a highly interactive and playful museum exhibit created by the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia! This exhibition pairs important environmental issues with the fun of miniature golf.

18 unique educational holes explore butterfly metamorphosis, a tropical rain forest, evolution, dinosaur extinction, food chains, and more. Perfect for kids of all ages, your entire family will enjoy playing miniature golf while learning about our environment – every step of the way!


The Delaware River Waterfront Corporation is proud to continue to present a wintertime tradition in Philadelphia, as the Blue Cross River Rink will re-open for the 26th season on November 27th. 



During this month-long CultureFest!, get hands-on in the comfort of your own home with DIY festivities, like making Year of the Ox masks or blending your own wellness tea. Explore some of the most fascinating artifacts from our Asia Galleries on our Global Voyagers tour, or learn about local and global Asian culture through our Living Room Lectures and At-Home Anthropology activities. Discover the signs and meanings of the Chinese zodiac or the rich symbolism of Mandarin squares (traditional Chinese embroidered badges of rank). And join a special round table featuring Send Chinatown Love to connect with your local Chinatown community.

The Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink is a safe, outdoor entertainment experience in Philadelphia's beloved Dilworth Park. Open seven days a week, November 6, 2020-February 28, 2021, the rink offers wintry fun for all ages, with a full slate of programs - all according to City, State, and CDC guidelines. 
New this season, an online reservation system will provide safe contactless purchasing opportunities with scheduled timed, 90-minute skating sessions to control skaters' rink capacity. Guests will be able to make an online reservation for their desired skate session and can print their tickets at home or use a QR code on their mobile device when they arrive at the rink. In addition to tickets, guests will be able to purchase and reserve lockers to secure and maintain possession of their personal belongings.

The wonder of the holiday season starts early at the Brandywine River Museum of Art this year! Beginning on October 31, 2020, visitors can enjoy “Holiday Magic at Brandywine” with the Brandywine Railroad opening—a holiday favorite since 1972. On view through January 10, 2021, this year’s seasonal offerings will also include the return of artist and composer Ann Wyeth McCoy’s dollhouse, which features six rooms filled with three-dozen dolls and hundreds of miniature objects that will delight visitors of all ages.

While slightly modified this year to provide a safe and socially distant experience, the Brandywine Railroad display will still have plenty of model trains, miniature details, and the engaging elements that everyone loves—including interactive components operated by hands-free foot pedals. The iconic O-gauge display will feature trains running on a thousand feet of track through a small village, a drive-in movie theater, and even a carnival. This year the Brandywine will also introduce two model train sets with layouts once owned by Nicky and Jamie Wyeth—sons of the renowned American artist Andrew Wyeth.




Experience the magic of more than 3 million lights illuminating acres of farmland at the Shady Brook Farm Holiday Light Show! Encounter whimsical holiday displays and familiar characters.
Drive through in the comfort of your own car or enjoy the show in a private open-air wagon ride (weather permitting).

Half a million outdoor lights and holiday magic await you during Longwood's incomparable Christmas display. Enjoy dazzling trees and seasonal concerts. The Music Room hosts a special, themed holiday display. Kids of all ages will delight in a miniature Garden Railway decked out for the holidays. Thousands of poinsettias accented with amaryllis, artemisia, begonias, cyclamen, hybrid lilies, kalanchoes, paperwhites, red-berried plants, etc. other flowers flourish inside acres of heated glass conservatories. Living wreaths, swags, and live floral trees adorn rooms throughout the Conservatory. Included in Gardens admission.

A Very Furry Christmas at Sesame Place® is a festive, family-friendly celebration with everyone’s favorite Sesame Street® friends. The park is transformed into a one-of-a-kind Christmas wonderland with millions of twinkling lights and festive decorations all around.
At the center of our 1-2-3 Christmas Tree show is a 30-foot fully-illuminated pixel-based tree that will project festive animated images. At the same time, guests can dance along to a festive holiday soundtrack – all making for the ultimate light show experience!
Sing along at two special Christmas shows and take a train ride tour through the Twiddlebugs’ Gingerbread Cookie Factory on the Sesame Place Furry Express!
