What to do this weekend with your family? Here is a list of things you can enjoy with your family this weekend: Please call ahead before leaving your house to ensure the venue is still hosting the event. Due to the new COVID guidelines, many venues have had to cut back on the number of visitors they can allow.



Who doesn't love food...better yet from food trucks!  We are partnering with local food trucks to bring you these food-tastic events at Linvilla!  Along with delicious treats from the trucks we will have music and fun for the whole family!  You won't want to miss these events!



 Come to campus for a FREE DRIVE IN MOVIE!! Stay safe in the comfort of your own vehicle! Enjoy an evening under the stars for an exclusive showing of Moana beginning at 7:30pm with Mean Girls directly to follow.in a safe, socially distanced environment. Registration is limited and spots must be reserved online only. Families are welcome and signs will direct to the viewing parking lot which will open at 7pm to get everyone parked and ready. 



Save the date & join us for our annual celebration of Earth Day and all things eco-friendly, Party for the Planet! Party for the Planet is a family fun filled day that emphasizes the importance of conservation and the environment. Guests can enjoy demonstrations and education stations featuring animals, recycling, sustainable living and more! Eco-friendly items will also be available to purchase from vendors throughout the zoo.


Join us outside at the museum for a FREE day of sensory activities, a pop-up shop, a photo op for the family, and a take-home activity bag! The DCM is celebrating our 11th birthday and getting ready to reopen our doors soon, and we want to see you! This event is entirely outdoors, and all social distancing and mask wearing protocols will be followed!

Dance along with the music of New Orleans performed by the award-winning Quaker City String Band in a physically distanced environment.

Join the animals of the Brandywine Zoo as we celebrate Earth Day! Our celebration will take us all around the world as our animals teach us about their native countries and ecosystems and help us celebrate the diversity of animals and nature all around the globe!


The Museum will be open for members only during our first two weekends: April 8-11 and April 15-18. New memberships are available for those who wish to come to the Museum during our first two weekends!  Reservations Required



Daytime, evening and holiday-themed hayrides run throughout the seasons. Hayrides are family-friendly and we operate many hay wagons at the same time during our peak hours. If it's your first time visiting Linvilla Orchards, taking a hayride should be at the top of your list!
 


Travel back in time 66 million years ago and journey to an age when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Encounter 24 life-size creatures, learn about these prehistoric giants, the rise of humans, and our impact on wildlife and the planet!  Timed tickets are required.


Spring is in the air! Don’t miss our seasonal event, Springtime In The Park. Enjoy 4 fun-filled weekends of rides, coasters, Hershey Characters, ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park visits, and so much more!


Help celebrate nature and protect the environment with our Earth Day volunteer event. Each year, we bring together diverse volunteers from the community, including individuals, families, scout troops, and youth groups, to work on projects that improve wildlife habitat, protect important natural resources, and preserve the park’s plant and animal communities. Past projects have included planting trees, installing bird boxes, and stream cleanups.



Reel in fun and enjoy a day fishing at Linvilla's Orchard Lake!  Orchard Lake was originally constructed to provide irrigation water for some of the farm’s many crops.  However, creating a fishing destination was an equally important priority.  In 2004 trout fishing opened at Orchard Lake, and it has been a popular activity ever since.  Reserve tickets in advance.




It’s almost time to awaken your senses and revitalize your soul with the vibrant hues, fresh fragrances, and natural sounds of spring in our Gardens. Reservations Required




Guests to the Philadelphia Museum of Art can pay what they wish for admission every Friday evening and the first Sunday of the month. Reservations are required.


Each night Miss Debbie will read chapters from a selected book until it is finished. 
We will then start on a new story.
So get on your pajamas, get a snack and your favorite blanket and enjoy!!
