What to do this weekend with your family? Here is a list of things you can enjoy with your family this weekend. There is so much to do for families and kids, especially now that most venues are open and happy to welcome you back.


Join the environmental education team as they provide fun and educational activities for the whole family! We will explore what critters live in our water in July and learn about different animal tracks in August! Meet at the Visitor Center, no registration needed.



Did you know that colonial people experimented with science every day? From making butter to getting water from the well, to dyeing their clothes, every day was Science Day. Join us on the farm to conduct your own scientific experiments--dye a piece of fabric using plants from our garden; churn butter and discover how baking is like chemistry; create and use simple machines to perform chores, learn how to harness a horse, make cider and more! The hours for this event are 11:00 am until 4:00 pm with the last admittance at 2:30 pm. Registration Required



Do you want to shop the best in name-brand kids' consignment sales?  Just Between Friends Delaware Valley is the place for you. JBF will hold a semi-annual community children's consignment sales event this weekend only at Brandywine Youth Club. If you are looking for fun, well-organized and awesome events...JBF is for you! 



The Circus Vazquez performing artists come from different parts of the world. Get ready for a turbo-charged take on the traditional circus that’s sure to thrill audiences of all ages. From graceful dancers and daring trapeze artists to a hilarious clown, this gasp-inducing performance gathers tons of amazing world-known talent under the big top for a huge dose of family fun. magic and joy to people of all ages!



Join the fun at The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire  The Renaissance fair occurring over 13 weekends from early August through late October on the grounds of the Mount Hope Estate and Winery in Manheim, Pennsylvania. 



This year’s public environmental programming will look a bit different due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Instead of a scheduled program led by our staff naturalist, we will be introducing new signage with fun facts, self-guided nature explorations, and exciting challenges for our park visitors! This month's theme is Monarchs.



We are excited to bring live entertainment back to our beloved amphitheater this summer, and we're committed to keeping a healthy environment for our audience, entertainers, and staff members.  The Summer Festival in Rose Tree Park runs from June 26 to August 22 with concerts at 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays at the outdoor amphitheater in Rose Tree Park.



Visit the whimsical world of Mo Willems and his cast of lovable characters, including best friend duo Elephant and Piggie, faithful companion Knuffle Bunny and The Pigeon, the wily city bird best known for his antics in Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!

Activities in the exhibition will give children the opportunity to make art that is inspired by Mo Willems and to learn about the social and emotional lives of the author’s popular characters.

Come sail with us! Kalmar Nyckel offers river cruises, day sails, and appearances from May through October in 2021. Sails are limited to 25 passengers, and reservations are required.

Reel in fun and enjoy a day fishing at Linvilla's Orchard Lake!  Orchard Lake was originally constructed to provide irrigation water for some of the farm’s many crops.  However, creating a fishing destination was an equally important priority.  In 2004 trout fishing opened at Orchard Lake, and it has been a popular activity ever since.  Reserve tickets in advance.
