What to do this weekend with your family? There is so much to do for families and kids, especially now that most venues are open and happy to welcome you back. Here is a list of things you can enjoy with your family this weekend.

Come out and help us celebrate 100 years of uninterrupted service to the community with a parade of trucks from Delaware County and beyond!
The event will start at StrathHaven Middle School at noon and finish at South Media Fire Company.
Help celebrate nature and protect the environment with our Earth Day volunteer event. Each year, we bring together diverse volunteers from the community, including individuals, families, scout troops, and youth groups, to work on projects that improve habitat for wildlife, protect important natural resources, and preserve the park’s plant and animal communities. Past projects have included planting trees, installing bird boxes, and stream cleanups.
Stop in Saturday, April 30th for our 40th Anniversary Celebration ! Yes 40 YEARS of serving the great community!
We will have raffles, give a ways, face painting from 1-4, live music from 4-8 from Rob Carroll and much much more!!

The Broomall Fire Company Spring Carnival
The event will be held on the Broomall Fire Company fairgrounds located at North Malin Road & West Chester Pike in Broomall, PA.
In addition to the various carnival rides, there will be face painting, an escape room, games, and delicious treats that benefit the Broomall Fire Company.
A good old-fashioned carnival is a great way to kick off warmer weather and some Springtime fun with family and friends while supporting your local volunteers!

Hop on a Spring Hayride to witness the orchard coming to life right before your eyes! We offer hayrides on the weekends in the Spring. Tickets are available online. While we strive to be open during our scheduled hours, this event is weather permitting. In the event that we cancel due to weather, you can swap your tickets to a different day.
The Museum will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with free admission* to the galleries.
In addition to free admission, creative art activities* will be offered from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with storytelling performances at 11 and 11:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Come to Brandywine for a day of animal-themed adventures! Discover artwork inside and outside the Museum featuring dogs, peacocks, horses, cows and everyone’s favorite painting, Portrait of Pig, make colorful animal-inspired masks and puppets and join in a dynamic performance of animal tales with TAHIRA.
TAHIRA is a storyteller and musician known for her performances of both original work and stories from the African oral tradition.

Join Thomas the Tank Engine™, a full-sized operating steam locomotive, as he greets friends of all ages. Thomas and his friends return to the Strasburg Rail Road April 29 – May 2, 2022.
Thomas the Tank Engine — the famous steam locomotive from the Island of Sodor — will pull your 45-minute excursion ride (4.5 miles east and 4.5 miles returning west on the same track) through the beautiful Lancaster County countryside.
