Individuals on the autism spectrum or with sensory processing disorder and their families are invited to join us for early access to the Museum and a variety of creative and accessible activities. Families will have the opportunity to explore the Museum, discovering colors and abstractions of nature throughout the paintings in our galleries. 

This seasonal gathering offers a perfect opportunity for families and friends to come together and enjoy the outdoors on a summer evening. Take a leisurely stroll through the beautiful gardens during the cooling evening hours, grab food and taste refreshing lemonade in the edible garden, indulge in ice cream treats, and enjoy a local craft beer or two. The Merchants of Swarthmore organized an impromptu Night Market for Friday the 28th. We’re closing down Park Avenue and will have Food Vendors, and some of your favorite shops in town will be open late and offering sales and specials!

There’s nothing like summer at Sesame Place Philadelphia! It’s a great time to have fun and cool off with splashy water attractions for all ages, like the ALL-NEW Bert & Ernie’s Splashy Shores and our NEW tropical-themed land, Big Bird’s Beach! The Philadelphia Museum of Art guests can pay what they wish for admission every Friday evening and the first Sunday of the month. Reservations are required.
