We constantly update our events calendar, so there is always something new and exciting to do!




Celebrate Halloween on the Kalmar Nyckel Foundation's maritime campus with this 5th annual family-friendly costume event. Enjoy indoor Ghost Ship tours, outdoor pumpkin painting, a costume parade, free tours of KALMAR NYCKEL, the Tall Ship of Delaware, and Halloween crafts. Plus, food trucks and face painting.  Free admission & parking. Fees for some activities. Please click the website link for more information. 



P.I.T. is taking our annual trunk-or-treat and kicking it up a notch! Come meet our new mascot (“The Monster”) and help celebrate the unveiling of his name!
Free and open to all ages, wear your costume and go trunk to trunk to get some great candy from local community organizations and businesses.
We are also featuring a Halloween-themed story time corner courtesy of the Ridley Park Library, a pumpkin painting activity tent, plenty of mascot friends from all across the greater Philly metro, and much more!


Join us for a three-day Chadds Ford tradition where over 70 giant pumpkins are carved by local artists on Thursday and will be lit and displayed on Friday & Saturday. All three nights, enjoy a 'kid-friendly' Haunted Trail, raffle prizes, and live music. Food, local craft beer, and wine are available for purchase.



Unique dog-friendly 5K at Rose Tree Park on Saturday, October 21. Dog-friendly dogs are welcome but not required. The more funds we raise, the more lives we save! Proceeds 100% support our lifesaving center. The 5K kicks off at 10 a.m. sharp; in-person run registration opens at 9 a.m. The 1-mile walk begins at 11 a.m.; in-person walk registration opens at 10 a.m. After the walk, enjoy a Fall Festival that includes a vaccine & microchipping clinic, dog contests, food trucks, local business vendors, tons of raffle baskets, music, arts & crafts, and so much more! We will be having a free yoga session at our event starting at 11:30AM! This event is BYOD (bring your own dog!) Dogs are welcome but not required. All dogs must be on a leash; no retractable leashes are allowed. 



CASH ONLY EVENT* The haunted maze will be hand-created by our cyo board that will be fun and scary. This is a family event for those who would like to come walkthrough.


The West Chester University Dance Team is excited to offer a youth clinic for participants in grades K-6! The clinic is an excellent opportunity for the dancers to gain exposure to the team and learn the Golden Ram's traditions. Dancers can expect individualized attention from West Chester University Dance Team members, new choreography, and an overall fun experience. The clinic provides a great introduction to jazz, hip-hop, and pom styles. Dancers will also learn fun routines and receive a t-shirt. Participants should wear sneakers and comfortable shorts or pants to dance. 


Join us for our second annual trunk or treat! We will be at Prospect United Methodist Church.
We are only allowing sign-ups for 15 cars. Please reach out to schedule your spot!
This is a free event for families. Children can enjoy trick or treating at the cars, snacks, and a craft.

With colorful characters & Instagram-able moments to be discovered at every turn, the mall is literally brought to life in this immersive, one-of-a-kind experience that can be enjoyed by both the young and the young at heart.



Join us for our free, self-guided, family-friendly Halloween trail. 
Pumpkins, mums, cornstalks, hay bales, fall annnuals, and perennials are available for purchase.



Linvilla Orchard's famous Hayride to the Witch's House is a hayride to visit the friendly Witch in the woods. The witch tells stories and jokes and gives all of the kids a treat. The hayride will end at a campfire where there will be Cider and Marshmallows! This hayride is especially for young children! This is not a haunted hayride. Parents are welcome and encouraged to join their children on the ride.




Teens and Tweens will enjoy The Bates Motel & Haunted Hayride, which has been voted the #1 haunt in the country and has been featured on the Travel Channel. 




All aboard the Dinosaur Train at Please Touch Museum! This traveling exhibit will transport kids back to the time of dinosaurs and encourage basic scientific learning through fun, hands-on activities.




Experience NEW Fintastic Fall Days only at Adventure Aquarium! Discover a glowing new adventure as glowing gourds in the shapes of aquatic animals take over the aquarium, ready to delight with daytime fun! Explore among glowing sea creatures, discover underwater pumpkin carvers, and embark on a search for illuminating surprises waiting around every corner. Experience the adventure before it glows away!




Pumpkinland is open from mid-September through early November and takes center stage at Linvilla Orchards. See our piles of pumpkins in all colors, shapes and sizes — over 100 tons on display! We do not do Pick-Your-Own pumpkins at Linvilla. Our Pumpkins are all pre-harvested and displayed in bins. Larger-than-life figures and scarecrows illustrate the legends and lore of the harvest season, featuring local history and some of the many stories of pumpkins and apples.



Come in costume and celebrate silly, not-too-spooky fun at The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular at Sesame Place! The park will be transformed into a family-friendly Halloween haven, and guests can enjoy trick-or-treating, Halloween-themed shows and parades, participating in our Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt and unique photo opportunities with everyone’s favorite furry friends dressed up in costume.



Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire at Mount Hope Estate. Guests can experience themed entertainment, food,  contests, and activities. Tickets should be purchased online in advance to guarantee admission.



Children of all ages are welcome to sit and listen, ask questions, doodle, draw, paste, and color to their heart's content. (Accompanying adults are also welcome to get involved!)




The Philadelphia Museum of Art guests can pay what they wish for admission every Friday evening and the first Sunday of the month. Reservations are required.
