Enjoy free all-day admission to the Brandywine Museum of Art, plus a special opportunity to meet some of the picture book illustrators and authors whose work is featured in Brandywine’s special exhibition, Rooted: Family and Nature in Contemporary Children’s Book Illustration. The artists and authors will read and sign their books, and teaching artists will lead creative art activities* related to the themes of the books from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., which include making colorful prints with vegetables, imagining a secret garden, and counting the contributions to a fanciful group assemblage.

Join us the first Saturday of each month between 9 am – 12 pm for free in-person Kids Workshops. While supplies last.

What better way to end our fall harvest season than with our annual Arts & Craft Festival! We welcome select local artists and crafts persons to gather and sell their wares. Not only does this spectacular event offer live musical performances you will get a chance to shop for that unique find by browsing a variety of handmade wood crafts, jewelry, photography, candles, and more! Bring the family for a fun-filled day that everyone will enjoy.

Europe in the 17th century has outgrown its borders. Political and religious wars on the continent and in Great Britain have catapulted its people into the modern age.  The Americas have been mapped and explored for more than a century, and the great Continental powers have staked their claims to the new territory.  Conflict and clashes of culture are happening. Witness a period of our history that shows the expanding horizons of both Europe and America.

Join us for a weekend of family fun at the 48th Annual Apple Festival on Saturday & Sunday, November 4 & 5 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Peddler’s Village Apple Festival is one of the most popular annual events in the greater Philadelphia region!

All aboard the Dinosaur Train at Please Touch Museum! This traveling exhibit will transport kids back to the time of dinosaurs and encourage basic scientific learning through fun, hands-on activities.

Experience NEW Fintastic Fall Days only at Adventure Aquarium! Discover a glowing new adventure as glowing gourds in the shapes of aquatic animals take over the aquarium, ready to delight with daytime fun! Explore among glowing sea creatures, discover underwater pumpkin carvers, and embark on a search for illuminating surprises waiting around every corner. Pumpkinland is open from mid-September through early November and takes center stage at Linvilla Orchards. See our piles of pumpkins in all colors, shapes and sizes — over 100 tons on display! We do not do Pick-Your-Own pumpkins at Linvilla. Our Pumpkins are all pre-harvested and displayed in bins. Larger-than-life figures and scarecrows illustrate the legends and lore of the harvest season, featuring local history and some of the many stories of pumpkins and apples.

Children of all ages are welcome to sit and listen, ask questions, doodle, draw, paste, and color to their heart's content. (Accompanying adults are also welcome to get involved!)

The Philadelphia Museum of Art guests can pay what they wish for admission every Friday evening and the first Sunday of the month. Reservations are required.

Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park have adventures behind every corner. They are the ultimate indoor playground for your entire family. Take your kids' birthday party to the next level or spend a day of fun with the family, and you'll see why we're more than just a trampoline park.
