This event will be fun for the whole family, featuring face painting and crafts. Music and other activities for everyone.
This is a sensory-friendly event for community families with children with special needs. Games and activities include a petting zoo, face painting, inflatable outdoor activities, arts and crafts, a plant sale, bingo, and raffles.
Welcome spring with “Hao Bang Ah! Snake!” an original puppet show featuring the 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac presented by artists of the internationally acclaimed Chinese Theatre Works, all the way from New York City.
Bring the whole family to this joyful celebration of Pan-Asian American Heritage Month with a performance of traditional “budaixi” Chinese glove puppetry. This year’s show stars the Snake who presides over a selection of wild puppet skits, dances, popular songs, and well-known Chinese sayings that celebrate the wit and wisdom of the zodiac animals.
Enjoy free, all-day admission to the Brandywine Museum of Art and its special exhibitions. In addition to free admission, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. join in creative art activities* celebrating animals in art. Search for creatures in paintings and create colorful bird sculptures and wearable animal masks. At 11:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. sing and dance along with lively musical performances from the award-winning duo, Two of a Kind.
Join King Street Malvern for a community party to welcome spring: Family fun, a concert in the park, circus acts, food trucks, a beer garden, and more!
