Easter Egg Hunts and Activities


 Prospect Park Free Library Annual Kids Spring Craft 

Stop in on Saturday during our Book & Bake Sale for our annual Kids Spring Craft. Ages 3 & up will have the opportunity to create Spring/Easter themed crafts.


Connect your family with the outdoors on this fun, interactive nature exploration
designed to spark curiosity and wonder. Using simple tools like magnifying glasses,
you will uncover the Arboretum’s plants, animals, and other seasonal highlights that
bring the woodland trails to life.



Media Restaurant Week is coming to Everybody's Hometown March 22 -28th!


Sensory-Friendly Saturday at Brandywine River Museum

Individuals on the autism spectrum or with sensory processing disorder and their families are invited to join us for early access to the Museum and a variety of creative and accessible activities. Families will have the opportunity to explore the Museum, discovering some of their favorite summer hobbies throughout paintings and art activities.



This spring, Peddler’s Village presents the 3rd Annual PEEPS® in the Village, on display from Friday, March 9 through Sunday, April 12. The colorful display will include more than 90 creations of wall art, dioramas, and sculpture, featuring the popular Pennsylvania-made bunnies and chicks, and carefully handmade and contributed by Philly-area residents and organizations. Admission to the display is free. Guests are invited to vote for their favorite entries. Housed in the new Visitor & Event Center, located off Street Road and Peddler’s Lane.

The Planet is a highly interactive and playful museum exhibit created by the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia! 18 unique educational holes explore butterfly metamorphosis, a tropical rain forest, evolution, dinosaur extinction, food chains, and more. Perfect for kids of all ages, your entire family will enjoy playing miniature golf while learning about our environment – every step of the way!



This winter, there’s no better place to warm up—and chill out—than Longwood. Escape the chill and bask in the warmth of our beautiful new West Conservatory as it begins its peak flowering season. Relax amid lush, tropical gardens. Unwind as the soothing sounds of water transport you to another world. Soak up the sun and leave your winter worries at the door.



Kaleidoscope Cove at Adventure Aquarium

A tidal wave of color is now washing over Adventure Aquarium! This completely new exhibit offers an immersive, colorful experience designed to engage and inspire, inviting guests to dive deeper into the colors and wonders of ocean life.




Children of all ages are welcome to sit and listen, ask questions, doodle, draw, paste, and color to their heart's content. (Accompanying adults are also welcome to get involved!)


Open Play at Urban Air Delco (Springfield)

Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park have adventures behind every corner. They are the ultimate indoor playground for your entire family. Take your kids' birthday party to the next level or spend a day of fun with the family, and you'll see why we're more than just a trampoline park.

First Free Sunday For Families at Brandywine River Museum

In addition to free admission, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., join in creative art activities* to explore the movement and music in the Jerrell Gibbs: No Solace in the Shade. Join teaching artists in creating colorful suncatchers with West African Adinkra Symbols and patterned musical bracelets to wear. At 11:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. attend lively performances from Jeannine Osayande & Dunya Performing Arts Company. Participants will enjoy interactive lecture demonstrations with African Diaspora drumming, dancing, Oral History/telling, and Capoeira-Angola traditions.



WonderWave Family Dance Party at Cedar Creek Catering

Join us for a high-energy, family-friendly daytime dance party designed for kids ages 1–8 and their parents.
WonderWave blends upbeat DJ music, guided dancing, and a welcoming environment where little ones can move freely and grown-ups can enjoy the moment too. What began as our free community library pop-ups is now expanding into a full indoor experience.

You can expect a winter wonderland filled with fun for the whole family, including convenient on-site parking, festive music, lighting, video & decor, delicious food & beverages, and heated hospitality tents perfect for private parties.

Shooting Stars Holiday Spectacular          
     
Join the Upper Darby Summer Stage Shooting Stars for 90 minutes of festive fun featuring talented students from 18 local high schools!

Enjoy Broadway-style numbers, holiday classics like “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” and “Carol of the Bells,” and a pre-show performance by the Delaware County Flute Choir.



Trains at the Historic Grange 

At Christmas time, the Carriage House of the Grange Estate is transformed into the Cobbs Creek Lines Holiday Railroad, a magical land of Lionel and O Gauge trains. Viewers of all ages delight in the immersive, fun-filled, and fantastic display of trains. Each year a dedicated group of volunteers assembles to enhance the train display, and each year’s visit brings something new to enjoy!


Lunch with Santa at UNO's

Peter Pan Jr the Media Theatre

Peter and his mischievous fairy sidekick, Tinkerbell, visit the nursery of the Darling children late one night and, with a sprinkle of pixie dust, begin a magical journey across the stars that none of them will ever forget. Meanwhile, Miss Hannigan, in partnership with her brother Rooster and his girlfriend Lily, attempts to make some money out of this unique situation.


Rose Tree Park Festival of Lights

During the daylight-deprived month of December, Rose Tree Park sparkles at night with its annual Festival of Lights display. The holidays will arrive early to the Brandywine Museum of Art this season with the return of the Brandywine Railroad holiday train display, plus a new exhibition that will highlight the miniature worlds created and loved by the Wyeth family of artists—including two additional model train displays that will delight visitors of all ages.

The gingerbread entries will be on exhibit during shopping hours from November 14 through January 17 in the Visitor & Event Center. Admission is free.

Experience the wonder of family rides & select coasters, sip a delicious hot chocolate while strolling through more than 5 million twinkling lights, and meet the Hershey Characters in their holiday best!
