Got a hankering for some great food and an afternoon chock full of affordable family fun? Why not stop by the 51st annual Strawberry Festival, a rootin’ tootin’, country picnic-flavored celebration of family, friends and community spirit sponsored by the Rose Tree Elementary Parent Teacher Group.
The fundraising event features a wide assortment of kid-friendly games and prizes, make and take crafts, live music, not to mention sweets, treats and downright delicious good eats. In addition to family style games like tug-of-war, three legged races and cakewalk, this year also marks the debut of a thrilling new Gem Mining game that recreates the excitement of the Gold Rush, letting kids pan for real gems.
