Families Invited to Tyler Arboretum to Help Build a New Scarecrow Exhibit

Scarecrows are coming to Tyler Arboretum! Kids and their grown-ups are invited to help construct a fabulous fall display during the Scarecrow Festival and Exhibit on Saturday, September 17, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. The event is free with regular admission.

Watch and learn as Simple the Roving Garden Artist demonstrates how he creates giant grass sculptures like the ones currently on display at Tyler. Then, construct a personalized scarecrow for the all-new Scarecrow Exhibit, which will grace the Arboretum grounds through the end of November.

Enjoy music, games, and crafts as part of the day’s festivities. A new sneaky-snaky tunnel offers a special treat for young ones to crawl through. Families are invited to bring a blanket and picnic lunch.
