6:00 pm -10:30 pm

RAIN OR SHINE

Media Business Authority and Media Arts Council will host its 7th Annual Bastille Day Celebration in downtown Media. Our most exciting 2nd Saturday transforms State Street into an arts-filled scene from history, featuring professional theater presentations, visual art displays, live music and dancing, plein air painting and more.

We celebrate Bastille Day as an historic event symbolic of the freedom that paved the way for, among other things, artistic expression. The Bastille Day celebration will offer attendees of all ages a unique experience filled with art, music and historical attractions. More than 40 businesses participate, along with numerous artists, musicians, and performers.

Celebrate the signing of the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia on July 4, 1776 during the American Revolution and the Storming of the Bastille Prison in Paris on July 14, 1789 during the French Revolution.

This is a free, family-friendly event.
State Street will be closed to traffic between Jackson and Orange Streets.
