What to do this weekend with your family? Here is a list of things you can enjoy with your family this weekend. There is so much to do for families and kids, especially now that most venues are open and happy to welcome you back.
The Wizard of Oz Educational Exhibit, a traveling exhibit based on the beloved movie classic, opens on Oct. 8 in Philadelphia. Visitors of all ages are invited to come along with Dorothy and Toto on a multi-sensory exploration of the Land of Oz.
How many ways can you destroy a pumpkin?? We’re on a quest to find out! Bring your leftover Halloween pumpkins or use some of ours to smash, throw, bowl, drop and carve till your heart's content! Our 11th annual Pumpkin Madness Festival will include fun activities like the Pumpkin Smash, Pumpkin Bowling, Pumpkin Putt-Putt, Pumpkin Chucking, and a HUGE pumpkin drop right at 5 o’clock! Enjoy wine from Britain Hill Winery and brews from Raney Cellars Brewing Co. The excitement continues after dark with a glow-in-the-dark pumpkin drop at 7pm and Fireworks at 8:30pm.
Driving through the darkened countryside and coming over that last hill on the unlit country road is like driving into a fairyland. Suddenly you find yourself in a dazzling valley set aglow with more than one million Christmas lights adorning buildings, gift barns, and landscape. A reflective lake adds to the stunning beauty of this magical place.
It’s the first Sunday of the month, which means free admission at the Barnes! Discover the meaning of wings in art and let your imagination take flight. Find birds (and fantastical winged creatures!) in our galleries and learn more with our fun family activities.
Stop by for some dinner- meet old friends and make new ones! Kids tours of fire trucks! Adults can tour too! Come support your local volunteers!
Celebrate Apple season in Bucks County with a weekend of family fun on Saturday & Sunday, November 6 & 7 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.!
This outdoor event is held rain or shine. Free admission and parking. All attractions and food are pay as you go. Peddler’s Village shops are open until 8 p.m. on Saturday.

Pumpkinland is open from September 11th through November 7th and takes center stage at Linvilla Orchards. Larger-than-life figures and scarecrows illustrate the legends and lore of the harvest season, featuring local history and some of the many stories of pumpkins and apples.
See our piles of pumpkins in all colors, shapes, and sizes — over 100 tons on display! We do not do Pick Your Own pumpkins at Linvilla. Our Pumpkins are pre-harvested. Find a huge selection of straw bales, corn shocks, toys, and fall decorations of all kinds.
This year we will continue with tickets for our daytime activities as well as our Autumn Moon, Harvest, and Witch's Hayrides to help better accommodate the number of visitors throughout the day. Tickets are required for ages 1 and older. 11 months and under are complimentary.
Test your navigation skills in our straw bale and cornfield mazes and Pick Your Own fall apples. Grab some candy and caramel apples and see the Linvilla jack-o-lantern exhibit!
This year’s public environmental programming will look a bit different due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Instead of a scheduled program led by our staff naturalist, we will be introducing new signage with fun facts, self-guided nature explorations, and exciting challenges for our park visitors! This month's theme is Monarchs.

Guests to the Philadelphia Museum of Art can pay what they wish for admission every Friday evening and the first Sunday of the month. Reservations are required.
