What to do this weekend with your family? Here is a list of things you can enjoy with your family this weekend. There is so much to do for families and kids, especially now that most venues are open and happy to welcome you back.



Who doesn't love food...better yet from food trucks!  We are partnering with local food trucks to bring you these food-tastic events at Linvilla!  Along with delicious treats from the trucks we will have music and fun for the whole family!  You won't want to miss these events.



Gobble Gobble! Get in the spirit of Thanksgiving with Allison DeSalvo's World of Song and some fun kids yoga this Saturday at 10:30am at Little Crum Creek Park for 4 - 7+ years. Includes songs, storytime, and art. Registration required.




A festive event featuring hundreds of uniquely decorated holiday trees & gingerbread houses, live entertainment, a holiday shopping village & Santa himself. 




Visitors of all ages are invited to discover solutions to science and engineering challenges at Science Saturday. Activities are included in regular admission and free for Hagley members. This is a drop-in activity, feel free to join the fun at any time from 12 to 4 p.m. 



The Wizard of Oz Educational Exhibit, a traveling exhibit based on the beloved movie classic, opens on Oct. 8 in Philadelphia. Visitors of all ages are invited to come along with Dorothy and Toto on a multi-sensory exploration of the Land of Oz.

Our Garden Railway is an engaging blend of horticulture, engineering, and lighthearted fun that holds a special place in the hearts of many.



Take a 15 min hayride through our orchards and drops you off at a campfire with marshmallows and apple cider.



This year’s public environmental programming will look a bit different due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Instead of a scheduled program led by our staff naturalist, we will be introducing new signage with fun facts, self-guided nature explorations, and exciting challenges for our park visitors! This month's theme is Monarchs.




Last weekend to see Autumn Colors.  Explore the crisp, fresh, and altogether refreshing, autumn at Longwood is a season of constant shifts in hue and texture … yet ever-present beauty.



Guests to the Philadelphia Museum of Art can pay what they wish for admission every Friday evening and the first Sunday of the month. Reservations are required.
