Drop In Workshop: Decorate a Flower Pot for Mom
Sun., May 2, 11 am-4 pm
Member/Non-Member Price: $5

Family Workshop: Garden Wind Chimes
Sat., May 8-May 22, 10-11 am

Create your very own wind chime to ring in the season with colorful leaves and branches. Students will learn about some of the local plants and flowers, then use their inspirations to slab roll and cut their own leaves and add texture then glaze with spring colors. This year’s show will be held September 22-27, 2009 at the historic Devon Horse Show Grounds. Visitors will be treated to great competitors, which have included Olympians Carol Lavell, Lars Petersen, Ashley Holzer, Robert Dover and others. However, it is more than big-name riders and horses that attract 35,000 spectators each year to the charming venue. The

Festival Area shops with equestrian-themed shopping, educational programs and activities like the Ladies Hat Contest make Dressage at Devon a must-do on everyone’s calendar.

First Friday Along the Main LIne


On the Friday November 7th, businesses and cultural arts organizations in the towns of Ardmore, Haverford, and Bryn Mawr stay open late and host First Friday Main Line, a celebration of the arts and a regional spotlight for all of the area's talented artists, musicians, and performers. The free event includes author appearances at book stores, art exhibitions, musical performances, special activities for children and families, and more. Free trolleys run in continuous loops through Ardmore, Haverford, and Bryn Mawr along Lancaster Avenue (Route 30) from 6pm to 10pm to transport guests to participating venues
