Energy and Color Abound at Media’s 2nd Saturday Arts Stroll

Jersey Corn Pickers

The Media Arts Council will host this month’s 2nd Saturday Arts Stroll on April 14th, 6:00-9:00PM, in downtown Media. This monthly arts stroll brings visual and performing artists to Media businesses, providing free, high-quality arts experiences to the community.

The Main Event this month is the Jersey Corn Pickers performing at the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union, 7:00-7:45PM. This Philadelphia-area band plays original and traditional high-energy bluegrass and Americana music. Since the five band members started playing together in 2010, they have performed at numerous bluegrass festivals, music halls, pubs, coffee houses, private parties, and other music venues in the greater Philadelphia area. The band won the 2011 Lehigh Valley Bluegrass Festival  band competition, and have been selected to compete in the 2012 Podunk Bluegrass Festival band competition this summer. The Jersey Corn Pickers are known for their interactive, energetic performances and will entertain audiences of all ages.
