PCS Children’s Theater Presents:James and the Giant Peach

PCS Children’s Theater Presents the Beloved Children’s Classic:
James and the Giant Peach

Imagine one of your favorite stories – one you’ve read over and over as a kid (and possibly as an adult) - coming to life on stage!  In James and the Giant Peach, a local cast of grown up actors takes a magical journey: exploring the wickedness of some, the goodness of others, and the indecision encountered by many when they are faced with crises.

Recommended for children ages five and up, Roald Dahl’s story comes hilariously to life in this delightful dramatization with a magical peach, an imprisoned boy, insect friends and an incredible journey!  This amazing adventure of James Henry Trotter will fulfill the fantasy of anyone who has ever dreamed of escape.  You will see James (as he cleverly gets the Peach out of danger), the wise Old-Green-Grasshopper and the pessimistic Earthworm. You will also see James’ mean Aunt Spiker and cruel Aunt Sponge come to a suitably sticky end. The action is tied together by the Narrator, a storyteller, motivator, emcee and audience friend.

James and the Giant Peach runs Friday, April 11th at 7:00pm; Saturday, April 12th at 4:30pm; Sunday, April 13th at 11:00am; Friday, April 18th at 7:00pm and Sunday, April 19th at 4:30pm.
All of the Children's Series productions will be performed on The Players Club of Swarthmore's Raymond W. Smith stage on the second floor.  Adult tickets are $10.00 each and Children under 12 are $8.00, cash or check only.  This show is recommended for ages 5 and up.  All tickets are sold at the door on the day of the performance.
