WXPN to Host Kids Corner Music Festival
Award-Winning Kids Radio Program Hosts an Afternoon of Great Kids Music and Activities at Philly’s Newest Music Hall, Union Transfer


Kids and parents should get ready for a silly, wiggly and giggly afternoon filled with music and fun activities for the whole family! WXPN (http://xpn.org), the nationally-recognized leader in Triple A (Adult Album Alternative) music and home of the Peabody award-winning Kids Corner radio show, today announced that it will host the next Kids Corner Music Festival on Saturday, March 10 at Union Transfer located at 1026 Spring Garden Street, Philadelphia, Pa.

Kids Corner Music Festival attendees will enjoy performances by the newest musical talent for kids and their parents. On top of the great live music, there will be free make and take craft stations courtesy of The Arden Theatre and The Philadelphia International Children’s Festival. There will also be creative balloon sculptures for free in the lobby provided by Kids Corner and WXPN. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. with live musical performances beginning at 11 a.m.

“Don’t miss out, we’re going to inspire kids of all ages to dance, sing and laugh at the Kids Corner Music Festival,” said Kathy O’Connell,Kids Corner host. “It’s going to be a lot of fun and we’ll jump, wiggle and shake to our wonderful musical guests Rolie Polie Guacamole, The Fuzzy Lemons and Roy Handy & The Moonshot!”
