New Year's Eve Family Events in the Philadelphia Area





We’re ringing in the New Year with everyone’s favorite pups, Bluey and Bingo! 
Join us for a morning filled with fun, laughter, dancing, and family magic as we count down to 2026 together.This is the perfect way to celebrate with the little ones in a safe, joyful, and playful space. Don’t miss it — let’s wrap up the year the Bluey way!






Join us on 12/30 from 11:30am-12:15pm as we countdown to Noon Year's Eve. We'll make a craft, play a game, and read a story along with some fun surprises as we ring in 2026! 




Delaware Valley's biggest and best family-friendly Countdown till noon!  Past events have been a highlight and tradition for area families.  Join us 11am - 1pm for a great event!

Make noise, sing, and dance, and at noon, join us for a balloon drop on 12/30 starting at 11 am!

All ages welcome; however, children 8 years old and younger must be accompanied by a caregiver aged 14 or above.

This is the must attend of the year! Celebrate the New Year with a Twiggy Drop at 12Noon. Park is open from 10AM-1PM with special activities. This is a limited available pass - Advanced ticket purchase is required.

To create a festive and fun New Year’s Eve for everyone, we are offering two timed sessions with limited capacity and will livestream the New Year’s Eve ball drop on the Museum’s lower level for those who want a quieter countdown experience. Choose the option that works best for your family; both the morning and afternoon sessions will end with our traditional New Year’s Eve ball drop and livestream option!



We’ll have a celebratory atmosphere with a group countdown to Noon. Program takes place outside in the zoo so dress for the weather! Hot chocolate will be available for purchase at the snack bar. Some animals may not be out because of the cold weather. TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE ONLINE ONLY!









Ring in 2026 in style with Parties on Ice with New Year’s Eve Fireworks on the Waterfront, the biggest and brightest fireworks show in the area.





New Year's Eve in Kennett Square


The Mushroom Festival and Kennett Area Restaurant & Merchant Association are again hosting the Annual Mushroom Drop being held at State & Union Streets this year.

Weather permitting (no wind), the lighted Mushroom will be raised at 8:55 PM - bring the kids for the opening celebrations.



New Year's Eve at Cherry Street Pier

Enjoy activities with a balloon drops from the sky to conclude the party, music and games with DJ Frost, special appearances and interactive play with Spiderman, Black Panther, and Captain America, PopUpPlay superhero training camp, where kids can create their own superhero identity, cape, and shield, a build-your-own superhero robot station, dress-up fun with Unless Kids, including the chance to become a villain.

The night sky sparkles at Sesame Place, with our spectacular fireworks show, set to Sesame Street music, making the festivities on New Year's Eve truly memorable. Fireworks will begin immediately following their Neighborhood Street Party Christmas Parade on December 31st.

Join the Upper Darby Summer Stage Shooting Stars for 90 minutes of festive fun featuring talented students from 18 local high schools!

Enjoy Broadway-style numbers, holiday classics like “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” and “Carol of the Bells,” and a pre-show performance by the Delaware County Flute Choir.




At Christmas time, the Carriage House of the Grange Estate is transformed into the Cobbs Creek Lines Holiday Railroad, a magical land of Lionel and O Gauge trains. Viewers of all ages delight in the immersive, fun-filled, and fantastic display of trains. Each year a dedicated group of volunteers assembles to enhance the train display, and each year’s visit brings something new to enjoy!

The ticket is $28.00 and includes Tree climbing, Tomahawk Toss, Ziplining, and Warrior Woods. Non-participating guests can also purchase Treehouse Passes.

We're getting so excited for our New Year's Eve Confetti Countdown! Countdowns will be at 11 AM, 12 PM, and 1 PM on Dec 31, with special musical performances from  We Kids Rock and appearances from Pinky the Puppet. Plus, a Pom Pom Party in the STEM room and firework painting in Studio D. We hope to see you!
