Medieval Days at the Colonial Plantation

 Saturday 11 to 5 with last entry at 4pm  

Sunday 11 to 3:30 with last admission at 2:30 

On Saturday and Sunday, October 12th and 13th come see what life was really like during the Middle Ages in Europe.  From the Vikings to the age of Columbus, various encampments will portray aspects of Medieval Life.  See how five hundred years of European culture thrived and changed. Romans, Saxons, Normans, and Vikings, and will portray life of this heroic era of Western Civilization. Finally witness the changes that technology made by the late Middle Ages by viewing the 15th century War of the Roses and Irish encampments. The Romans will demonstrate a ballista and there will be long bow demonstrations at 1:00 and 3:00. Food and refreshments may be purchased.
