Steve Ruzansky and his puppets pals are coming back to Giggle Gang! Bring your imagination and your sense of adventure for this super silly Giggle Gang event!

The Springfield Mall Giggle Gang is an interactive club for parents and kids between the ages of one and five that teaches important lessons relating to the environment and the surrounding community in a fun, interactive way. Giggle Gang meets two Thursdays a month at Springfield Mall at 10:30 a.m. and admission is FREE for members of the Springfield Mall Shopper’s Club.

Kennett Square Mushroom Festival


25th Annual Mushroom Festival’s Silver Celebration September 10-12, 2010

Be part of the fun doing the Mushroom Stroll down State Street in Kennett Square on September 10-12, 2010 at the 25th Annual Mushroom Festival.

Their will be an Old Fashioned Carnival and a Community Parade on Friday evening, September 10, at 7 p.m. with a “Kennett Square is Cool” Float Contest.

Both days feature many of the Festival’s favorite events including Farm Tours, the Growers’ Exhibit, Mushroom Soup at the Masonic Lodge, and live music on Del’s Stage, great acts on the Children’s Stage, The Street Fair features nearly 200 vendors with lots of ways to enjoy mushrooms from mushroom soup to grilled portabellas, to mushroom ice cream, plus mushroom sculptures, mushroom jewelry, and more.

Favorite Saturday events include the Antique and Classic Car Show and the Amateur Mushroom Soup Cook-off. The Special Events Tent (corner of Willow and State Streets) features a Saturday Afternoon Concert by country duo Bombshel, sponsored by WSTW.

Sunday is Go Pink Day at the Mushroom Festival. Start the morning with the Mushroom Run/Walk along the Red Clay Creek.
