Two Great Crafts the weekend at Michaels Craft Store for Grandparents Day on September 11th

Do you have baby/children’s clothes, toys, and furniture that have been outgrown? Do you want to get rid of them and earn extra cash? If so, Just Between Friends is right for you.

Anyone can consign during this semi-annual event. Just register online, tag your items before the day of the sale using their on-line tagging system, and then drop them off at the sale. JBF does the rest.

• Consignors make 65% of their sales (consignors who also volunteer make 70%).

• You set your own price and decide if your item is discounted during half price days

• Consignors will receive a presale pass to shop before the public.

• The fee to consign is only $10.

• Consignors are required to have a minimum of 20 items or $100 worth of items.

• With the on-line bar-coding system (www.myjbftags.com), it is easy to enter your tags and print them off.

• You will then be able to track your sales during the event

• They accept seasonally appropriate clothing items during the sales as well as toys, books, and furniture.

If you don’t want to consign, you can still shop for great deals on quality items.

I participated in the last Just Between Friends sale and it really is a convenient way to de-clutter your house. I sold a ton of my girl’s clothes and even two strollers. The 51st annual Delaware County Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday 11/11. All veterans with past military service and those in uniform are encouraged to attend with family and friends to salute their brothers and sisters who have proudly served our country.
The parade follows the traditional route west in the borough on State Street from Edgemont to Orange Street, north to Front Street, then left and concluding before the reviewing stand at Delaware County Courthouse, where the ceremony will be held.

Four volunteers are starting a story time hour at Reformation Church in Media. It will be held every other Thursday in the ROCK room beginning at 10:30am on October 7th.
