Upland Borough
The parade will start at Upland Baptist Church on Monday, May 28th beginning at 9:00 a.m. and will conclude at the War Memorial located at Bristol Lord Field (6th & Main Streets).


Marple Memorial Day Parade
Starts at West Chester Pike and Malin Road

Fireworks

Sesame Place

May 26th and 27th  at 9:00 PM
The night sky will sparkle at Sesame Place, with a spectacular fireworks show, set to Sesame Street music, making the festivities on Memorial Day weekend truly memorable. Fireworks will begin at 9pm. 

Fireworks and Fountains Show at Longwood Gardens
Sounds of Summer—May 26 at 9:15 pm
Celebrate summer’s arrival with iconic anthems of the season from The Beach Boys, The Go-Gos, Justin Timberlake, and more. This upbeat show will get you in a feel-good, summer state of mind.

Monday, May 29th  at noon the Township will host a ceremony at Thornbury Park to remember all those who have served and sacrificed for all of us. 


Budweiser Clydesdale Memorial Day Parade 
Sunday, May 28th in Media at 12pm

Santa's Parade & Fun Run/Walk in Downtown Media
Sunday, November 27th at 5pm

Media's 3rd Annual Santa's State Street Fun Run & Walk will begin the festivities at 3pm! 

The run will be followed by The 3rd Annual Santa's Parade. Dozens of magical floats and musical entertainment will get us all into the true Christmas spirit. And you know who will be our special guests, Mr. and Mrs. Claus, of course!
The parade begins at 5 sharp!


December, 2nd & 3rd 

Pictures with Reinders, Winter Carriage rides – 5:30pm – 8:30pm
Face painting and tree ornament crafts at the Radnor Fire Co. 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Carolers stroll the streets of Wayne. Hot chocolate and goodies at the Wayne Senior Center
5:30 – 8PM
Santa arrives and Tree lighting – 7:30pm

Santa Parade along Lancaster Avenue and ending at Wayne Hotel – 10:00 am
Santa rides into Wayne with the Radnor Fire Co. and meets with children on the veranda of the Wayne Hotel until 11:30 am


Friday, December 2nd

This annual West Chester tradition, hosted by the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce, will kick off Friday, December 2nd at 7:15 pm! The parade promises to provide a seasonal mix of traditional elements with a modern twist—local schools, businesses, volunteer fire companies, and other service organizations will join the many marching bands, floats, and antique vehicles that have cemented themselves as mainstays in the Old-Fashioned Christmas experience.

Springfield Township St. Patrick's Day Parade Saturday March 12th starting at 1:00pm. The parade will start at West Springfield Road and Britton Road and end at Saxer Avenue and Powell Road.



Wilmington’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday March 12th at noon. A new route and post parade party has been announced for the 41st annual parade, which begins at 14th & King Street.

Conshohocken  AOH Saint Patrick’s Day Parade Saturday, March 12th at 2:00 p.m!  Starts and 9th & Fayette and continues to Washington Fire House on West Elm.

 Mars Drinks Old-Fashioned Christmas Parade Presented by QVC



Phoenixville Parade & Tree Lighting
December 4th 7 pm

Join us for the annual Christmas Parade at 7 pm.
The parade will take place between the 100 - 300 blocks of Bridge Street.
The tree lighting is around 8 pm.

The Christmas Committee is working hard to bring you the best Christmas celebration ever. Come join us on Saturday, December 12 when Lancaster Avenue comes alive with the sights and sounds of Christmas! The Christmas Parade will be begin at 3:00 pm traveling from west to east along Lancaster Avenue.


December 13th at 2pm

Parkesburg VFW Post 4480 hosts their 3rd annual Christmas parade, on December 13th at A. Duie Pyle. The parade steps off at 2pm, traveling down 1st Ave to the Parkesburg Fire House.

The 54th annual Delaware County Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday 11/11. All veterans with past military service and those in uniform are encouraged to attend with family and friends to salute their brothers and sisters who have proudly served our country.

The parade follows the traditional route west in the borough on State Street from Edgemont to Orange Street, north to Front Street, then left and concluding before the reviewing stand at Delaware County Courthouse, where the ceremony will be held.

2012 Fourth of July Fireworks and Parades in Delaware County

Below is a list of parades, events and fireworks for the Delaware County area. Don't forget the Wawa Welcome America celebration in Philadelphia that includes a parade on July 4th, an ice cream festival and outdoor movies. Click here for the calendar of events in Philadelphia. Saturday June 30th

GlenoldenFireworks will be held on June 30th at the Hillcrest and South Avenue field with the rain date of July 1st.
Festivities will begin around 7:00pm and fireworks will commence between 9:00pm and 9:30pm.


Tuesday July 3rd
Longwood Gardens "Fireworks and Fountains" display is truly memorable and you can see the extravaganza July 3rd 9:15pm

Upper Darby
The Upper Darby 
Band will celebrate Independence Day with a concert and fireworks show on Tuesday at Upper Darby High Memorial Field, Lansdowne Avenue. The gate opens at 7:15 p.m. Rain date is July 5. The  fireworks show set off at 9:15 p.m. Admission is $4 at the gate.  No lawn chairs or coolers are permitted inside the stadium.

Wednesday July 4th

Aldan

The Aldan 4th of July Association's annual Independence Day celebration begins 11 a.m. on July 4th with the borough's annual patriotic parade

The parade will proceed on Providence Road, east to Elm Avenue, south to Magnolia Avenue, west to Sycamore Avenue, and north to the borough park.

Aston
Aston
township will hold its annual fireworks display at dusk on Wednesday at the Sun Valley High athletic field.


Ardmore (Haverford Township)
Ardmore Independence Day Celebration on Wednesday, July 4th
10:00 AM Parade Starts at Chestnutwald Elementary goes to Elwell Park

Fireworks July 4th at Chester Park at dusk.


Clifton Heights
Fireworks at Clifton Heights Athletic Field, N. Springfield and Church St. on July 4th, 9:15 p.m.  Cars are $5 and tickets to the field are $5 per person. Kids 3 accompanied by a paying adult do not need a ticket.


Collingdale
Collingdale's Fourth of July Celebration will begin at 9:00 a.m. with a Grand Parade  
There will be events throughout the day at Collingdale Park.  Fireworks will begin at dusk at the Collingdale Community Center.

The Llanerch Civic Association's Annual 4th of July Parade on Wednesday, July 4th at 10:00 AM.  The parade begins at Llanerch Fire House.

Lansdowne

Don’t miss the Union AA's Independence Day festivities and fireworks display at the Penn Wood High School field, featuring live music, beginning at 7:45 PM. Fireworks are set to begin at 9:00 pm. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase. The rain date for fireworks only is Thursday, July 5.


Marple Newtown
Come out and watch the parade on July 4th starting at 10 AM. Parade starts at St. Alban's circle in Newtown Square and travels down West Chester Pike to the Broomall Fire Company. Stop by the fire house for free refreshments such as hot dogs, pretzels and bottled water. (rain date is July 7).



Media The Media Recreation Commission will hold a fun morning at Barrall Field on State and Edgemont streets starting at 10 a.m – 12:00 pm.on July 4th

Garrett Hill Parade will be July 4th. Opening ceremonies of the parade is at 10:45a.m. at Clem Macrone Park.

The annual Radnor Township July 4th Fireworks will take place at the Radnor High School fields on King of Prussia Road. Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. and the fireworks will begin at dusk. The stands will be open, or you can bring a picnic basket and chairs and sit on the field. . Tickets purchased in advance at the Township Municipal Building, 301 Iven Ave., Wayne, are $10 and tickets at the gate at $15.


Ridley Park
The recreation board will host a parade that will begin at ABC park and conclude at the firehouse field.  Games, activities and food will follow.  Fireworks will be held on July 7th.

Rutledge
Rutledge 4th of July celebration will begin at 10:30 a.m. at 
Parade begins from the Borough Hall.

Parade starts at 9:15 am.  At 10:30 am activities at Memorial Park start. There is a flag raising ceremony, greetings and salute to veterans, Firehouse Five concert, Free Ice cream for all, free buttons and balloons, field events after concert, pony rides, face painting, a juggler, a clown and a balloon man.

Thornbury will hold its Annual Fourth of July Parade, on July 4th. Parade along Glen Mills Road to Thornbury Park. Refreshments and games at the park. Formation begins 9:30 am at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Parade begins at 10:00 am

Upland
Upland's annual Fourth of July family picnic will be held from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Bristol Lord Field, located at Sixth and Church streets. You need a wristband to attend this event.

July 7th
Ridley Park
Fireworks and Car Show on Saturday July 7th.  Car Show starts at 2pm. Fireworks begin at dusk
