Memorial Day Parades In Delaware County

Parades

Crum Lynne
Area children are invited to decorate their bikes and assemble 9:30 a.m. on May 31st at the post. The best decorated bikes will receive an award.
Hot dogs and refreshments will be served in the post hall after the parade.

Springfield
Memorial Day parade will begin at Veterans Memorial Park at10 a.m. on Monday, May 31st

Media
On Monday May 31st at 10am on State Street in Media

Lower Merion
On Monday May 31st at 9:45 the parade will travel down Greenfield Avenue near the Merion Fire House and proceeds along Lancaster Avenue to Argyle Road and then to St. Paul's Cemetery

Eddystone
On Sunday, May 30th An Honor Guard and Rifle Salute at St. Michaels Cemetery in honor of F.A. Scott at 9:30 a.m. At 11 a.m. there will be church services at St. Mathews. At 12:30 p.m. our Honor Guard and a Rifle Salute will be held in Eddystone at the conclusion of their parade.

Swarthmore College
On the Main Lawn at Swarthmore College at 9:15 pm on Saturday May 29 (don’t forget your chairs)

Longwood Gardens
Sunday May 30th at 9:15 part of Longwood Fireworks and Fountains (you will need to purchase tickets for this event

O'Hara Fair

O’HARA SPRING FAIR

April 27th through May 1st

Still in 2010- No more “Family Night” at the fair. Keeping in mind the current state of our economy, Cardinal O’Hara and Lynam Amusements have joined together to provide you with an opportunity to enjoy the annual carnival at huge discounted prices! As a result, “Family night” will no longer be offered. It is being replaced with a bigger & better way to save.

Advanced tickets are only sold as $25 per sheet/20 tickets and will be a different color from the tickets sold during the fair

Each Advanced Ticket, is good for 1 ride. That’s right, 20 rides for 25 bucks, good any night of our fair & at any other Lynam Amusement Carnival without expiration; all year long. (This replaces the $15 bracelets, that were good for only one child, on one specific night, and for only the rides you get them on)

Join the Giggle Gang for a whimsical fairytale themed Giggle Gang event! And what fairytale would be complete without a regal crown of royalty? Bring your imagination, and they will supply the rest!

The Springfield Mall Giggle Gang is an interactive club for parents and kids between the ages of one and five that teaches important lessons relating to the environment and the surrounding community in a fun, interactive way. The club meets the first and third Thursday of every month at Springfield Mall at 10:30 a.m. and is FREE for members of the Springfield Mall Shoppers Club. The Shoppers Club is a community of smart shoppers receiving exclusive benefits when shopping at Springfield Mall. Easter Bunny at the Springfield Mall

Beginning Friday, March 12, the Easter Bunny will be available for visits and photos in the Center Court.

Monday–Saturday: 10am-8pm
(break times 1-2pm & 5-6pm)
Sunday: 11am-6pm
(break time 1-2pm)
