The all new family musical, "Clifford, The Big Red Dog LIVE!" comes to the stage on Friday, January 27 at 7:30pm to celebrate - in a big way - Clifford's 50th anniversary! The performance takes place at Upper Darby Performing Arts Center and tickets are on sale now at www.udpac.org or by calling the box office at 610.822.1189. Tickets are $10 - $12. 

In the fun, new musical adventure,Clifford and Emily Elizabeth take audiences on a journey to Birdwell Island with their friends Cleo, T-Bone, Charley, Jetta, and Mac. They share the timeless values of Clifford's BE BIG!™ Ideas -- Share, Play Fair, Have Respect, Work Together, Be Responsible, Be Truthful, Be Kind, Help Others, Believe In Yourself and Be A Good Friend -- with laughter, songs and dancing the whole family will love.

Yo Vikings at Upper Darby Summer Stage


Upper Darby Summer Stage presents a World Premiere Children’s Theater Musical –“Yo, Vikings!” - July 21, 22, and 23 - written by Richard Rodgers Award-winner!

Based on a true story about a courageous girl, a mysterious Viking ship, and a library in need of rescue - with roots right here in the Delaware Valley!

Upper Darby Summer Stage presents “Yo, Vikings!” on July 21, 22 and 23, a world premiere Children’s Theater musical. The delightfully entertaining musical, packed with exciting songs, tells a riveting story about how far a determined little girl’s imaginative journey can take her.

The book, “Yo, Vikings!” was written by New York Times best-selling author of the “Skippyjon Jones” children book series, Judith Byron Schachner of Swarthmore, PA. The world premiere musical, written and directed by Marcus Stevens a Summer Stage alumnus and winner of the Richard Rodgers Award, brings Ms. Schachner’s engaging true story to life on the stage. Audiences will applaud the compelling, catchy and memorable music written by Samuel Willmott.

Ms. Schachner the New York Times best-selling author will be on site at each performance to sign books.

The musical version of the Narnia story brought to the stage by the professional acting troupe, Theatreworks USA An enchanting musical production, “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe,” is based on C.S. Lewis’ adventure story about four children who accidentally enter the land of Narnia. It is brought to life on the stage by the professional touring troupe, Theatreworks USA. Upper Darby Summer Stage Shooting Stars Holiday Show – “A Holiday to Remember”A high energy performance of songs and dances to get the entire family into the holiday spirit!
The Upper Darby Summer Stage “Shooting Stars” is a troupe of just over 30 talented young people who are selected by audition from more than 600 members of the Upper Darby Summer Stage program. The Shooting Stars Holiday Show features outstanding singing, exciting choreography and the energy and smiles of talented young people performing many of the holiday favorites! The Shooting Stars have performed throughout the country and region including Walt Disney World’s Magic Music Days, NBC10’s Live from Longwood Gardens Christmas special, Delaware County’s Rose Tree Summer Festival and much more. Upper Darby Summer Stage voted two years in a row “Best Theater Group in Philadelphia” on FOX 29, MyFOXPhilly’s Hot List!!
